  • Reading measuring tools
  • Lines and symbols
  • Orthographic drawings
  • Reading scales and dimensioning drawings
  • Plot prints
  • Foundation prints
  • Architectural plans
  • Plumbing prints
  • HVAC prints
  • Electrical prints

Afternoon Session is a Hands-On Segment

At the end of the day, students will:

  • Have a basic understanding of the purpose and function of blueprints;
  • Be able to use a scale ruler;
  • Understand the different types of prints and their symbols; and,
  • Learn how to properly care for and store blueprints.

Students should bring to class an architects's scale ruler.
