GBC is looking for participants for BOMA's Sustainability Awards

The Sustainability Awards encompass three(3) BOMA Greater Phoenix initiatives: Kilowatt Krackdown, Golden Dumpster and Stop Drops.

Details of each award are as follows:

  • Kilowatt Krackdown: Invites property managers, facility managers, maintenance staff and building engineers into a competition for recognition of their energy performance compared to similar building categories. 
  • Golden Dumpster: Promotes recycling, waste reduction and diversion, and education.
  • Stop Drops is a water conservation program aimed at increasng water efficiency in the Greater Phoenix Commercial Sector.

BOMA'S W2 Challenge

The W2 Water and Waste Challenge is a two-year initiative to encourage commercial real estate practitioners to benchmark water and waste consumption and associated costs, and to implement common practices to improve water performance and reduce waste.

This program will run from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019.  Year 1 will establish a baseline and Year 2 will promote performance improvements.

Share your buildings with BOMA ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account and enter water and waste consumption and cost data into Portfolio Manager at least quarterly.
