The Association attempts to maintain a balanced ratio of Principal members, consisting of Property Managers, Owners, Developing Professionals, Building Engineers and Professional Members (architects, attorneys ,etc.) to Allied Partner members such as vendors, contractors, suppliers, etc.  Membership approval for Allied Partner members may be delayed if the preferred ratio is not being met. Allied Partner members may bypass the ‘waiting list’ by joining with a Property Manager, Developing Professional, Building Engineer or Building Owner.

Additional Membership Information

Only paid members are permitted to participate on committees and attend bi-monthly meetings at no fee*.  If you are a property manager, building owner or building engineer, you can contact the BOMA office if you would like to attend a meeting before joining.  Exceptions include classes,  the annual golf tournament and the TOBY Awards Banquet & Ceremony, where attendance is encouraged for both members and non-members.

Remember that we do not support residential property management (no condos, HOA's, apartment complexes).  We support commercial office, industrial, medical and retail building property management.

 

Membership Dues

Principal Membership, includes property managers, building owners, assistant property managers and facility managers.  The cost for one year is $1,100.00 for one employee member.  Additional employees from the same property management firm are $990.00 for the first additional and $880.00 thereafter.

Developing Professional Memberships are $385.00, and do not include the cost of bi-monthly meetings or membership to BOMA International, only membership status with our local BOMA affiliation. Engineer membership costs are $200.00, and do not include the cost of bi-monthly meetings or membership to BOMA International, only membership status with our local BOMA affiliation.  Engineer exclusive programming may includes: Tech Talks, Tech Tours and Tech Seminars.

Allied Partners or service provider membership dues costs are $1,375.00.  Additional employees from the the same vendor firm would pay $1,155.00 each.

 

Waiting List

There will be times when we have a waiting list in order to keep our ratio of Principal Members and Allied Partners (service providers/vendors) to the ratio determined by our Board of Directors.  To find out if we currently have a wait list, contact the BOMA Greater Phoenix office (602) 200-3898.  We do offer some options to expedite your waiting time if there is a current list.
