Jeff Potts

Jeffrey Michael Potts currently serves as a board of directors' member with BOMA Greater Phoenix and is the Chief Building Engineer for Shorenstein Realty Services and Metro Services Group, with over a decade of experience in commercial building operations. He specializes in HVAC systems (particularly chiller and VAV configurations) as well as electrical and plumbing diagnostics, Building Management Systems, fire life safety systems, plan review, and team leadership.
Throughout his career, Jeff has been recognized for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. He’s received multiple industry honors including, BOMA Greater Phoenix's "Building Engineer of the Year" (2024), two "Greatest Contribution by an Engineering Professional” award from CBRE (2014 & 2020), and the "Presidential Honors" from The Refrigeration School (2012). He holds an associate degree in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering from RSI, along with certifications including EPA Universal, EPA 609, EPA R-410A, and OSHA 10.
Outside of work, Jeffrey is a musician who enjoys playing jazz bass and piano. He’s also passionate about giving back by volunteering with organizations like Feed My Starving Children and supporting St. Vincent de Paul through fundraising and donation efforts.
