BOMA Greater Phoenix Announces Slate of Candidates for 2026 Board Election
Phoenix, AZ — 10/13/2025 — The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Phoenix today unveils the official list of candidates competing in its upcoming 2026 Board of Directors election.
Following a call for nominations earlier this fall, the Board’s Nominating Committee has reviewed applicants and selected the following candidates for the election:
OFFICER SLATE
- President: Amanda Forsmo, Ryan Companies
- Secretary/Treasurer: Emily Mehta, Shorenstein Realty Services
ELECTION
- Vice-President: Carrie Scott, Allegis Group, Inc.
- Vice-President: Alexis Matt, Newmark Management
BOARD DIRECTORS (NEW)
- John Owsley, Landcare
- Howard Sobel, Johnson Controls
- Brandi Reynolds, RENCO Roofing

These candidates reflect the organization’s commitment to bringing diverse expertise, fresh perspectives, and strong leadership to guide BOMA Greater Phoenix’s mission of advocacy, education, and industry advancement across the Valley. All new candidates have submitted their application and participated in an interview with the Nomination Committee.

Election Process & Timeline

Members will receive an e-ballot via email on October 14, 2025.

Voting will be open for a period of one-day, with results announced in November.

Elected board members will begin their two-year term starting January 1, 2026.

Board participation includes commitment to monthly board meetings, committee roles, strategic planning, and active engagement in BOMA initiatives.
